Application Procedures and Policies

No application should be made until after viewing the property.

It will not be considered unless the property has been seen by a prospective resident or someone on their behalf.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Public Investment Corporation adheres to the Fair Housing Act and will not discriminate against anyone based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin.

Policies Regarding Applications

  • All applications must be filled out completely.
  • Public Investment Corporation charges a $50 non-refundable fee for each Applicant. If the property has not been seen, do not apply.
  • Online applications require a credit card for payment.
  • Paper applications require a check or money order payment.
  • No cash will be accepted.
  • All U.S. citizens must submit a driver’s license or state-issued ID, social security number, and proof of verifiable income.
  • All non-U.S. citizens must submit a photo ID (state-issued ID, driver’s license, or passport), a completed I-20 form, and proof of verifiable income.
  • Public Investment Corporation will check applicants' credit, employment history, prior landlord information, and criminal background within three (3) business days of receiving the application and fee.
  • All units will continue to be marketed as available until a lease is signed and the security deposit is paid in full. Applicant(s) may be given a deadline to sign a lease and pay the security deposit if other Applicant(s) are ready to sign.
  • Security deposit is due in full at the time of the lease signing.
  • If each Applicant is not present at the lease signing, the Applicant(s) present at the signing are responsible for the entire lease agreement until all roommates are signed onto the lease.

Showing of Properties

  • Public Investment Corporation endeavors to give Current Residents reasonable notice of a showing of their unit.
  • Public Investment Corporation can only show properties by appointment between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Public Investment Corporation cannot transport individuals. Applicants must provide transportation between the office and the properties.
